Hello everyone! It’s Monday – and Leap Day! Thursday and Friday went as I hoped, so that is good. Rebel went to the special vet on Thursday and it turns out he has hip dysplasia – he will need surgery sooner rather than later for his knee, but the dog orthopedist wants to wait until he is a bit closer to full grown before operating – and he will figure out what the extent of the surgery that needs to be done. Nothing else happened this weekend – on Wednesday I go to NYC to see the oncologist there and hopefully I will have good news in my Wednesday update. Talk to you then!

Happy Wednesday! So, this time next week, I will have gone to the NYC oncologist and hopefully I will know how I am doing treatment wise – I hope that he will have an idea as to when I will be done with treatment. Thursdays are easier, but I still dislike not feeling well, but I am fine with the last month and a half or so. So, I don’t have any plans this weekend and I will talk to all of you on Monday!

Happy Monday! Thursday and Friday were pretty much identical to the week before, so I am pleased with that. Didn’t really do anything this weekend – my mom an brother took Rebel to the vet on Saturday for a follow-up appointment about his rear leg, and she referred us to an orthopedist for dogs, so Rebel, my brother, and my dad will be going to see the canine orthopedist on Thursday. So, that is all, talk to you on Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday! So, I went to the local oncologist today – my hemoglobin went up to 11.2 at this most recent visit, which is an improvement from last time. Woohoo! March 2nd, I see the NYC oncologist and hopefully my numbers just keep going up from there. I am guessing Thursday will be like the normal Thursdays as of late and I am hoping that Friday will be like last Friday – and I will try the medical marijuana again to try to replicate last Friday. I don’t know what I am going to do this weekend, but if I do anything special, I will mention it. Talk to you on Monday!

Happy Monday! So Thursday went well – On Friday, I took the medical marijauna to help with my nausea and vomiting – turned on the vaporizer, vomited at the smell. Then I took a hit and it kicked in pretty quickly. After that, my Friday nausea was more under control, which was nice. Still didn’t feel comfortable eating that much, but that is okay – as long as I am not nauseous or vomiting, I am okay with Fridays being me not eating a lot. So, it was absolutely frigid here this weekend – after wind chill, it was below 0 (Fahrenheit), so I did not go outside. Today hasn’t been that eventful. On Wednesday, I go to the local oncologist, so I will hopefully have some good news then!

Note: Oops, I hit Save Draft instead of publish, so this didn’t get posted until *really* late (It’s a bit after 12 PM on Tuesday, whoops).

Happy Wednesday! So, I didn’t try the other strain of marijuana yet – might try it this weekend, but I dunno. So, tomorrow will go perfectly, like it has lately – I hope to see some improvement on Friday, but if I don’t, I dont – an I am fine with that. So, I don’t know what I am going to do this weekend, probably not much of anything, but if I do, it’ll be something fun and I will tell you guys about it 😀

Happy Monday! So, Thursday and Friday were normal for me (The new Thursday normal and the same-as-always Fridays) – which I am pleased with. On Saturday, I went to the dispensary – it was an interesting place. Got two strains – Sour Willie (for daytime) and Blackwater (for night) – I tried the Sour Willie yesterday, ate too much, then vomited. Haven’t tried the Blackwater yet, but I should. So, other than that, the weekend was the same old. Today, Rebel was very sleepy on the couch, so I took a selfie with him – he didn’t even wake up after I took it. He likes napping on the couch near me.

So, I will talk to you guys on Wednesday – maybe I will have taken the Blackwater by then!

Happy Wednesday! So, I have my replacement tablet (Yay!) and just in time for a game I have been waiting for (XCOM 2) to come out on Friday (So, I will be playing it on Saturday) – Woohoo! I went to the dispensary today and they require an appointment for first time patients, so I will be going back on Saturday. Went to local oncologist – they couldn’t draw the blood for the registry, but they will next time – might have not shipped on time, so better safe than sorry. Tomorrow is going to go well and Friday will be a normal Friday. Saturday I go to the dispensary.

Oh, and Rebel went to the vet today for his limp. Poor puppy tore his ACL, the vet thinks. She wants to see him in two weeks to see if he is any better – as it could just be a sprain or a strain. Hopefully it is that, but I will probably push for imaging just in case.

Happy Monday! So, Thursday went well, woohoo! However, my regular tablet stopped working (boo!) – but I should be getting a replacement in the mail by Wednesday (Yay!). I received my medical marijuana card this afternoon and I will be going to the dispensary on Wednesday – I will also go to my local oncologist on Wednesday, so my Wednesday blog post should be interesting – as a dispensary sounds like an interesting place. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Loughran at UVA – I will be going in April, so I will be doing at least one blog post from an amtrak or a hotel room, fun! So, talk to all of you on Wednesday!
